Let’s Fly, Fly Away…

Hello Everybody,

I apologise for my extreme lack of posts recently, I have been absolutely unexplainably busy.

So, as the holidays are almost upon us here in Australia (YAY! WOOP WOOP!). I thought I would do a post dedicated to them. After a ridiculously busy term with no free time (literally I had no free time), I have decide to make the most of these holidays. As the title suggests, I am flying somewhere these holidays; not quite. My family and I are going away but to a resort on the beach within a driving distance. I am so excited to get away from the busyness of my home-life and have a chill few days with my family, the beach, pool and shopping. I will blog the whole adventure when it comes, but for now I thought I would show you guys a few things that I will pack in my carry bag beach and classify them as my holiday essentials.

Lunch With Mum

Recently, I went out to lunch with my mum whilst we went shopping. We went to a café called ‘Spoon’ which I had been to before and I love it. We had a amazing lunch which I took some photos of, so I thought I would share my lunch adventure with you.

Mum: English Breakfast Tea. Does anyone else love this mug?- I am in love with it!

Me: Mango & Coconut Smoothie. Soooo delicious, may I add.. Also, on top of this smoothie was yoghurt sorbet- I thought it sounded really weird but it was amazing… trust me. Try it if you can!

Mum & I: Salt & Pepper Calamari Salad. This salad was healthy and super fresh and yummy.

Mum & I: Sweet Potato Fries. These have been my families obsession recently. We have had restaurant ones and made our own, and I can say, these were the best ones- and the most unhealthy ones.. I think.. Whoops!!

So, that’s it guys. This was a simple post, but I will try to post more in the coming days and weeks. I am on holidays at the moment and I have been super busy sleeping and seeing family and friends. But, I really want to blog more, so I shall commit! Thank you all so much for reading and (hopefully) liking my blog. Talk super soon!

6 MONTHS IN MY LIFE

As we have (almost) reached the exact middle of the year, I was feeling quite reflective. So, I thought I would share the past 6 months of my life in pictures. Enjoy!

Went to the Spiderman 2 Premiere..Loved the movie sooooo much!

Attended two surprise parties for my friends. (this was a photo I took whilst waiting to surprise/scare my friend Bri.)

 

 Took this whilst stuck in traffic for 3 ½ hours on the way to the beach. 

 Went late night dining in the city.

Wrapped my lovely dog up in her jacket. 

Celebrated my Grandad’s 70th. (that’s my sister btw) 

Ate this at my friends Party. Absolutely amazing Gingerbread Pudding may I add. 

 

Drunk this whilst having lunch with my mum. Rosewater Lemonade. Unbelievably delicious. Recipe to come. 

Visited this beautiful boy while visiting my Nana and Grandad. 

 Celebrated both my Mother’s and Sister’s birthday (yes they have the same Birthday). Special one for my sister though, happy 18th Em!

Read both these books. I read The Fault In Our Stars for the second time, after initially reading it around mid last year. I also saw the movie which I will say was amazing and sooooo emotional. Myself and Mahls (fattlittlefiat.wordpress.com) were literally bawling from 15 minutes in till the end (and maybe a little after that). 

 

So, that is 6 months in my life. This post was probably one of my more personal posts I have done, but I thought it was nice to share. Thank you all so much for supporting and reading my blog! I hope you all had a great past 6 months.
