Wake Up In The Morning Feeling Like…..

Hello Everybody, 

Today I am going to teach you some simple ways to help you wake up easier and get ready in the mornings, with full energy!

Get At Least 7-9 Hours Of Sleep:

Getting enough sleep is super important if you are looking for a way to kick start you day. Make sure you get at least 7-9 hours of sleep a night; depending on your age and your sleeping habits. If you under or over sleep, it will leave you feeling tired and sluggish during the day. Getting enough sleep will allow you to wake up feeling refreshed and ready for the day. Also, make sure you get into a sleeping routine so your body clock gets used to your sleeping habits and allows you to wake up feeling rested and raring for the day.

Start Your Day With Some Exercise:

Yoga or some light exercise is a fantastic way to get your body ready for the day and kick start your metabolism. A brisk walk or run or even some yoga is a great way to begin your morning. The internet is filled with morning workout routines that will allow you to be prepared for the day and be full of energy. BONUS: Starting you day with exercise will also benefit your health and fitness.

Wash Up:

Simply having a shower or just washing your face in the morning can help you feel refreshed and prepared for the day. It will refresh your body and help you fully wake up from your restful slumber. If you do exercise in the morning, I suggest doing this afterwards.

Drink Tea Or Another Beverage:

Starting you day with a healthy Green Tea (I drink Jasmine Green Tea) or any other tea (even coffee, if you wish..) will help kick start your day. Tea will especially help nourish your body and get your metabolism going; helping your day start in an energetic and ‘ready’ way. Also, tea and coffee with caffeine will give you a little extra wake up call. 

Eat A Filling And Nutritious Breakfast:

Again with the metabolism… Eating a nutritious and filling breakfast with get your metabolism raring and kick start your body into action. Eating fruit, muesli, granola, yogurt or whipping up a quick and healthy smoothie, is a super healthy way to start you day and will help you feel ready and filled until Morning Tea or even Lunch. 

Quick Clean:

This isn’t everyones favourite, but I really think it helps, especially when you get home. Before you leave in the morning, make your bed and open up your curtains. It makes you feel a bit more prepared for the day as the sun is shining into your room and your room will appear to be cleaner, just because your bed it nicely made. Making your bed in the morning and opening your curtains and windows will also make the room nicer to return to in the afternoon, or whenever you get home.

Style Steal- Lily Collins

Hello Everybody!

In the recent weeks, I have found myself scrolling few various blogs and hashtags in hunt for inspiration; style wise. I was always stuck on a handful of bloggers and celebrities to find inspiration from, for my everyday makeup and general style. I found myself getting  bored of literally wearing the same playsuit everyday, along with the same hairstyle (side plait) and the same makeup- which honestly I was never happy with. As I would classify myself as young, my makeup skills haven’t fully developed and I haven’t learnt all the tricks and tips of makeup. I was doing the same look over and over, which to me, made me look powdery and not fresh faced (which I wanted to be). I watched multiple Youtube tutorials on various ways to apply makeup and tried multiple different brands, but was left with the same result. Now, whenever I asked others, they would say my makeup was well done and looked good- but honestly, I never liked how it came out. 

So, back to the point of this post. Whilst I was on the hunt for new people to draw inspiration off, I found a trailer for the movie ‘Stuck In Love’. This movie has various good actors in it, including Lily Collins. I have known about Lily Collins for a while, but for some reason never looked into her style. So, I began my hashtag and blog stalking of the beautiful Lily Collins and began to absolutely fall in love with everything about her style. 

Lily, is probably most commonly known (besides her acting, obviously) for her eyebrows. They are truly amazing #eyebrowgamestrong. I have totally fallen for, not only Lily’s style but her hair and makeup as well. She always looked fresh-faced and her hair always looks fabulous- along with her effortless and amazing style, which always leaves her looking beautiful (which she naturally is, obviously). So, today I thought I would share some of my favourite Lily looks with you. I have pasted the images below. Enjoy!!

Lunch With Mum

Recently, I went out to lunch with my mum whilst we went shopping. We went to a café called ‘Spoon’ which I had been to before and I love it. We had a amazing lunch which I took some photos of, so I thought I would share my lunch adventure with you.

Me: Mango & Coconut Smoothie. Soooo delicious, may I add.. Also, on top of this smoothie was yoghurt sorbet- I thought it sounded really weird but it was amazing… trust me. Try it if you can!

Mum & I: Sweet Potato Fries. These have been my families obsession recently. We have had restaurant ones and made our own, and I can say, these were the best ones- and the most unhealthy ones.. I think.. Whoops!!

So, that’s it guys. This was a simple post, but I will try to post more in the coming days and weeks. I am on holidays at the moment and I have been super busy sleeping and seeing family and friends.
